Laundry day

It’s laundry day as well as clean the boat day. We suspect most charters are around 5 days. Ours is thirteen. That’s just the way we roll, go big or go home. What’s it like to be on the boat long enough to need to do laundry? Day two in Anegada with little to do- lucky us. Our plan is to get up earlier then normal tomorrow to high-tail it to Trellis Bay where we will have our dingy prop replaced. So today, Tuesday, will be a work day. Laundry needs to be done, the boat’s hygiene is below standard and we have just not sat around enough.

I puttered Debbie over to the dingy dock with a 10 pound bag of laundry and puttered back and the cleaning commenced. I cleaned the fridge, the sole, the head, aired out everything and collected the trash. Back to get Debbie. Light provisioning (beer/rum/fish) and back to Kazejin. Then a few hours of sitting around complaining about the neighbors who are dancing to the Macarena on their catamaran. Oh yes, that was just the beginning of their party.  Don’t they know it is already 7pm?

End of a busy day

An awesome sunset, and then dinner time. Fire up the grill. Grilled Snapper, potatoes, and broccoli.

And finally an end to a long day with anticipation of an early morning.
