Four days, Punta Gorda Florida to Key West with 3rd Coast Cruising. Awesome. It was my first time sleeping on a boat and I loved it, in spite of the rough weather. (Thanks to the Transderm Scop patch, my stomach was quite happy. I usually get queasy in the cabin, something I’m hoping will go away over time. That, and my lack of affection for spiders.)

We started sailing lessons with 3rd Coast the end of last summer and are committed to twice a week lessons throughout the summer. We hope to learn fast, and will get out on the lake as often as we can.
